Before You Ride
To ensure every ride is safe and enjoyable, our treks and beach rides are suited to riders who are comfortable and confident in trot to canter transitions. For the welfare of our horses, we also ask that riders are no more than 82kg.
Before setting out, all riders take part in a short assessment in our arena here at the centre. This allows us to match you with the perfect horse and confirm the ride is right for your level, so your booking is subject to this assessment on the day.
If we find a trek isn’t quite the right fit just yet, don’t worry. Your booked time won’t go to waste: our instructors will use it to give you a lesson in the arena, helping you build the skills and confidence to join us on the trails soon.
