1. Introduction
   These terms and conditions govern all purchases made through the Maltfield Stud Equestrian Centre’s online shop, including clothing and equestrian items, and separate terms apply to voucher purchases. Clients visiting for lessons, livery, or any other services offered by Maltfield Stud must also adhere to these terms.
2. Product Purchase and Usage (Excluding Vouchers)
   a. Products purchased online will be delivered as specified at the checkout.
   b. Products must be inspected upon receipt, and any concerns must be communicated to Maltfield Stud within 14 days.
3. Voucher Purchase and Usage
   a. Vouchers purchased are delivered via email as a PDF document.
   b. Vouchers must be presented upon arrival at Maltfield Stud for redemption.
   c. Bookings for voucher lessons must be made over the phone in advance and cannot be scheduled upon arrival.
   d. Vouchers are valid for specific services, as detailed at the time of purchase.
4. Payment
   a. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase for both products and vouchers.
   b. We accept various credit/debit cards as specified at the checkout.
5. Product and Voucher Validity
   a. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
   b. Products (excluding vouchers) can be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in original condition.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
   a. Refunds are not available on purchased vouchers, except in exceptional circumstances at management’s discretion.
   b. Refunds or exchanges on other purchased products are available within 14 days of receipt.
   c. Cancellation of booked services, including voucher bookings, requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide notice will result in being charged in full for the lesson.
7. Riding Standards and Assessment
   1. All treks and beach rides require riders to be proficient in trot to canter transitions.
   2. All bookings for treks and beach rides are conditional upon a rider assessment, conducted in the arena at Maltfield Stud prior to departure.
   3. Where a rider does not meet the required standard following assessment, the booking will be fulfilled as arena-based instruction for the duration of the time booked. No refund or rebooking will be offered in these circumstances.
   4. For the welfare of our horses, a maximum rider weight limit of 82kg applies to all treks, beach rides, and lessons. Maltfield Stud reserves the right to decline participation where this limit is exceeded, and no refund will be issued where a rider has booked in breach of this requirement.
8. Transferability
   a. Vouchers are non-transferable and may not be sold or traded.
9. Lost or Stolen Items
   a. Maltfield Stud is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of vouchers or products.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
    a. Personal information collected during purchase will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
    a. Maltfield Stud does not accept liability for any injuries, accidents, or losses occurring during riding lessons, on the premises, or as a result of using purchased products.
    b. Clients and visitors are advised to have their own insurance coverage.
12. Product Descriptions and Availability
    a. While we strive for accuracy, errors in product descriptions may occur.
13. Changes to Terms & Conditions
    a. Maltfield Stud reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
14. Governing Law
    a. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Maltfield Stud is located.
