We’re a family run equestrian establishment, approved by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments (A.I.R.E.) and registered with Board Failte. Our premises in Wicklow is surrounded by beautiful forestry and is a short drive from Brittas Bay, thus offering a range of possibilities for horse owners and those wishing to seek instruction or trekking experiences.

At Maltfield Stud, we ensure your horse receives constant supervision, with both grass & full-stable livery options available. Clients of Maltfield are free to utilise the various facilities on offer, including a large floodlit arena, top-spec stabling, American-style barn, and much more. Our riding school is know to produce competent riders, and those wishing to experience the joy of forest or beach trekking are in for a special treat.

Maltfield is also well known for it’s exciting student holidays. Many students from France, Italy and Spain visit Maltfield each summer for exciting adventures and constant involvement with horses, together with excellent English tuition from qualified teachers.
